'12 : Released a new single, “Nagusame,” (Consolation,) from Crown Records in the “Japanese Pop Music” genre for the first time. Played the lead role in the musical, “The Diary of an Angel,” in Tokyo, Hiroshima and Osaka. The encore performance of “The Diary of an Angel” will be held in Tokyo and Nagoya in July. Lectured at the Aichi Nursing Association in Japan She will also be starring as a supporting actress in the feature film, “My Life, My Tango,” to be released in August, 2012. The year of 2012 is the 20th anniversary of Piazzola’s death. In response to this anniversary, Ms. Saeki will focus on singing Piazzola’s songs this year. Her brand new album, recorded in Argentina, will be released in Japan and overseas. The world concert tour, “Renacer (Revive) Immortal Piazzola,” will be starting in autumn. She will perform at the International Tango Concert in Paris in October 2012. She will also perform a concert on the Big Island of Hawaii in December.
